After work pilates

Short post work Pilates class

Enjoy some quick after work down time with this short Pilates workout

This is a short class to help squeeze in a quick workout after a busy day! This is a mat based class working on your core and abdominal muscles.

We begin by challenging our pelvic and hip control with a hip twist movement.

We then strengthen our abdominals and oblique muscles with a criss-cross exercise.  Mobilising our spines and engaging our glute muscles with a Bridging movement before gently stretching our legs and spines to finish.

Really enjoying these classes. I like how straightforward they are, with no silly chat or feeling of ‘woo’. I also like how you can get straight into it and join in – other online classes have so much talk that sometimes you get into a position and have to wait there for ages while something is explained. Vicky is friendly and unintimidating. I’d love to get to a proper class but with lockdown that’s been impossible. For a beginner like me these classes are great. Thank you!

    Hi Vicky
I like the simple nature of your classes and also like your calm voice and that there is no chatter. They are easy to follow. Could you consider a tough upper body strength class and also a tough extended standing balance class please.
    Thanks
    Tan

Hi Tan, thanks for the feedback. Yes of course. I will actually be sending out a questionnaire on my email list this month asking what sort of classes everyone would like over the next few months. If you get the newsletter you should see it soon (if not you can easily sign up! ) 🙂

Hi, Are there any of your online classes that you would particularly recommend for teenage girls? Thanks

Hello, there isn’t a particular class I would recommend but often working on core stability muscles can be very helpful for teenagers. As for everyone it is important to work to a level that suits you so if Pilates is new start with the basics and build from there. I hope you the classes. Best wishes, Vicky

I’ve done pilates classes for years, and during lockdown found this site, and am so impressed. It’s calming and so easy to pick a level of exercise plus being able to pick the length of session so can fit in with whatever you’re doing… Brilliant. Many thanks.
