Gentle core strengthening

Core stability and pelvic floor muscle strength and control

The class is suitable for most levels and where possible options for exercises are demonstrated. This class inlcudes:

We start the class in standing and warm up with some upper body stretches, balance and leg control exercises. Moving down onto the mat we then work on engaging and strengthening our pelvic floor with exercises including hip twist, one leg stretch and scissors movements.

We work our core and glutes a little more with a bridge exercise adding some variations with some heel raises. moving onto our sides we work on strengthening our glutes with a clam and side kick movements. Cooling down with some spine, legs and upper body stretches.
