This is a full body workout focusing on toning and strengthening
As much as possible different options and levels of exercises are shown throughout the class, making the class suitable for most levels.
This class includes:
- Standing upper body rolls
- Standing toy soldier
- Side plie
- Plank with mountain climb
- Swan dive
- Cobra stretch
- Side bend
- Glute and hamstring stretches
We start the class by warming up in standing with some gentle stretches and balance exercises.
Rolling down into a plank with an extra challenge of some mountain climbs. Moving down onto our fronts to work on some upper body control with a swan dive and swimming movements finishing in this position with a cobra stretch to extend our spines.
Moving around onto our sides we work our obliques with a side bend and our glutes with a clam exercise. Onto our backs we then begin to challenge our core and abdominal muscles with exercises such as a Bridging and scissors. Cooling down with some gentle stretches in lying and sitting.
