28 June – Pilates class

We start today’s class in standing, gently warming up our legs and arms.

We move down on to our fronts to challenge our leg control with one leg kick.

Working our obliques with a side bend and glutes with clam exercises on our sides before moving onto our backs for one leg stretch.

26 June – 30 minute Pilates class

Today’s 30 minute class challenges our glutes and hip control.

Starting in high kneeling we really challenge our glute and core muscle strength. Moving onto our backs on the mat we challenge our hip and pelvic control further with exercises such as hip twist, one leg stretches and more.

Cooling down with some spine and leg stretches.

24 June – Pilates class

Our warm up in standing today includes some upper spine and side flexion stretches as well as some balance work.

Continuing the class on our backs with scissors and bridging exercises as well as continuing to progress our move of the month the ‘one leg stretch

We challenge our pelvic control and glute muscle strength with side kick and hip abduction movements on our sides.

Cooling down with some stretches in sitting.

21 June – Pilates class

We begin in standing with some upper body movements and control and ten challenge our hip flexor control in standing.

We continue to work our pelvic and hip control movements on our back wit scissors and hip twist movements. We also add in some abdominal muscle challenge with criss cross and hundreds exercises.

We also work on our glute strength on our sides with clam exercises. Finishing in sitting with glute and upper body stretches.

19 June – 30 minute Pilates class

We start today’s class with some upper spine movements and stretches.

We move into four point kneeling to stretch with cat stretch and challenge our muscles with some press ups. Finishing with some stretches.

17 June – Pilates class

We start today’s class warming up and stretching our upper spines. then working our legs in standing with some squats before rolling down to continue the class in four point kneeing. In this position we practice a leg pull in prone movement and swimming exercise.

Moving onto our sides to challenge our obliques with a side bend. Then onto our backs we continue with one leg stretch.

Cooling down with some leg stretches and roll downs in standing.

12 June – 30 minute Pilates class

Today’s 30 minute class focuses on glute strengthening.

We start by warming up our legs and bottoms in standing. Then move into four point kneeling to challenge our glute muscles further, finishing this series with some bridging variations on our backs.

We then give our legs and glutes a good stretch before we finish the class.

10 June – Pilates class

We start today’s class warming up in standing, with a particular focus on hip control.

We then move onto the mat to work on our pelvic and core control further. We also start to progress our move of the month – one leg stretch.

Moving onto our fronts on the mat we then challenge both our hip and upper body control with hip extension and breaststroke prep movements.

Finishing in sitting with some neck and upper body stretches.
